Preparation Tips:

Check The Time Available For Your Exam:

The preparation varies according to the time available for the examination. So, I am stressing you to check the number of days available for your examination. Then only you will make a time table for the preparation.

If you have more days or months then you will enter into the broad preparation. If you have less time then you have to focus on exam-centric and your abilities.

Know Yourself:

I mean know your strengths and weakness in both your life and in the subjects. You can convert your weaknesses into strengths in your life also in your subjects provided you have more time.

What if you have less time for preparation then you have to focus on your strengths. Like if you are good at reasoning then put some more effort to avoid mistakes in examinations which will lead to negative marks.

If you feel any subject difficult like maths or GS. Then ask yourself one question that Is am I Not good at the whole subject or One topic?

I am sure that everybody good some chapters in Maths also. So, focus on them.

Tip

If You Have Less Time (or) No Time, Then Study Some Previous Question Papers. Because In SSC Questions Are Often Repeated In The Examinations

Make A Time Table:

This is very much important and every successful aspirant have a time table. Here I cannot give you my time table or any time table. You have to prepare one for yourself. Because no one knows about yourself and your activities.

Follow These Tips While Preparing Your Time Table:
  • Give at least 2 Hours For Each Subject.
  • Don’t Study One Subject Per Day. Because you get bored.
  • Give Some Intervals For Yourself To Recharge Your Mind

Subject Wise Preparation Tips:

General Intelligence:

General intelligence questions are asked to test your decision making power.

It checks your mental alertness, so your mind has to prepare for that.

Regular practice of questions related to this topic will make you sharper.

Different types of questions asked in this section.

I thought that you are aware of them. If not check the syllabus.

Be careful in some of these questions because they seem to be solved easily but they will eat your time without knowing your mind. So, be careful.

But if you practice more you can get more marks in this section.

English:

General English questions are asked to test your understanding of English knowledge and writing.

Good grammar knowledge will make you better in this section.

Daily learn 10 words both meanings and antonyms will increase your vocabulary.

Practice every section thoroughly and then practice bits.

Quantitative Aptitude:

Basics are important in this section. You must have a thorough knowledge of all mathematical concepts. Then only your preparation goes well.

One thing I can say the practice is the only way to get more marks from this section.

First of all, learn the concepts and a basic understanding of a question. Then enter into tricks.

If you don’t know the concept exactly then your short cut tips will goes into vain.

The Process To Get More Marks In This Section Is

  • Understand the concept
  • Solve some questions in a particular concept in general process
  • Then Enter into shortcuts to solve the questions in less time
  • Quicker Maths By M Tyra Provides You Lots of shortcut Tricks For Every Concept.
  • Use the shortcuts if you know them perfectly, otherwise, you may lose the marks

General Awareness:

This is a broad area where you have to cover the lots of subjects.

One good thing is most of the questions from this area are repeated questions except for current affairs.

If you have less time then read previous question papers as much as you can.

Read magazines to get knowledge on current affairs.

Get Some Inspiration:

Sometimes you may lose the mood.

To get into mood you always stay Motivated.

So, here I am going to give you some Motivational and Inspirational Movies list as all of us love movies.

Revision Strategy:

Revision is very much important for an exam. So you must have to revise all the concepts mostly math concepts.

If you make notes in your words at the time of preparation then your preparation will go easily.

I will give you a simple revision strategy but it is very effective.

  • Revise daily 1 hour at night for everything studied on that day
  • Revise weekly on Sunday for everything on that week
  • Revise easily for everything studied on that month
  • What you have for preparation
  • Prepare short notes at the time of preparation, which will help you revise fastly
  • With the above strategy, you will revise three times which is excellent for your preparation.
  • For the first revision, it takes less time as you are revising on the same day
  • But for the second revision, it takes some time because of itsbeen 6 days so there is a chance that you may forget.
  • But for the month revision, it takes no time and you are super ready with the concept.

Follow the above strategy if you have more time. Also, you can follow this for future exams.

Test Yourself For The Preparedness:

Okay you have done your preparation, now its time test yourself.

If you want to crack the exam you have to solve some question papers.

First of all, solve previous year question papers by setting time

Solve previous papers as much as you can so that you will know how the exam is conducted and its difficulty level.

Try to solve recent years question papers like the last exam question papers

As old question papers like 2008, 2010 cannot work because of difficulty level changed from exam to exam.

As of now solve question papers of 2018.

Attempt mock tests conducted by some online websites.

You will get more model papers online so download and solve them also.

Time Management In Examination:

Anyway, you are at the exam, but this is the precious time for all your efforts to manage it correctly otherwise you will lose the exam. So be careful here. Follow below strategy.

  • You have 60 minutes for 100 questions i.e. 36-sec per question
  • Try not to spend more than 30 sec for each question
  • Just look at the question and decide whether you can answer it or not in 1 sec
  • First attempt English
  • Second General Awareness
  • Third Reasoning or maths whatever you are better at.
  • In this context, you have two options.
  • First maths if you can solve questions using shortcuts in 30 seconds and then go for reasoning and answer all reasoning questions, because you can solve all of them.
  • Otherwise (if you have little knowledge on maths) attempt it in the last after reasoning.
  • Maintain a set of time for each section like 10 minutes for English+10 min for GS+15 for math+15 for reasoning = 50 min.
  • Now you have 10 min only use that time for the questions you held for review and also on GS or English because those questions take less time.
  • If you spend that time on maths you may lose some easy questions.

If You Have Any Doubts Ask In Comments, We Will Replay In 24 Hours.
